On Thursday, February 23 at 7:00 PM, we will be holding our Neighborhood Watch meeting at the Modjeska Firehouse. Our local Sheriff department will be presenting a lot of great information on crime statistics in our area along with ways we can better protect ourselves and our homes.
We will be combining efforts with our Fire watch team. Each street will need a Block Captain, and many are already in place through the Fire Watch team, although added support may be needed. The Block Captain is an integral component in keeping the block activity involved in crime prevention efforts as well as facilitating the exchange of information between neighbors.
We hope to see a great turnout for this event. Keeping our canyon safe is our number one priority!
